Shenzhen's Knowin raises hundreds of millions of yuan in Angel+++ round led by JD-linked fund

Five rounds, over ¥1B in fourteen months: the Shenzhen startup is pushing its KNOWIN-X1 home robot toward mass production in early 2027.
Shenzhen-based consumer embodied-AI startup Knowin has closed an Angel+++ funding round worth hundreds of millions of yuan, led by a fund linked to JD.com, with Loyal Valley Capital, Nanshan Strategic Emerging Investment, and Walden International participating.
The capital goes to three things, per the company: expanding training data to improve generalization of its GLOW generative embodied model across tasks, objects, and home environments; advancing hardware R&D and engineering validation of its KNOWIN-X1 robot toward mass production; and hiring senior embodied-AI talent.
Knowin is building a full stack. GLOW is the “brain” — a generative embodied model the company says can encode a single human demonstration into reusable skills without retraining — and the KNOWIN-X1 is the “body,” a foldable dual-arm home robot that stands about 1.4 meters tall unfolded, folds down to 40 centimeters, weighs roughly 50 kilograms, and lifts 6 kilograms on its self-developed arms.
The pace is aggressive. Founded in August 2025, the company has now raised five rounds totaling more than ¥1 billion, with the previous ¥500 million round — from Matrix Partners China and Redpoint China — announced roughly seven weeks earlier. Knowin is targeting the first quarter of 2027 for the KNOWIN-X1's release and mass production.
The bet is that home robotics is the endgame for embodied AI: not demo videos, but machines that adapt to different spaces, objects, and household habits. Whether one-demonstration generalization survives contact with real living rooms is the question the entire consumer-humanoid field is now trying to answer.
