Longqi Robot debuts HR-05W wheeled humanoid at CIIF, alongside CubeBraid embodied loading system

The industrial-robot maker moves into humanoids with a wheeled dual-arm platform built for factory and logistics mobile work.
Guangdong Longqi Robot, a Chinese industrial-robot manufacturer known for SCARA and six-axis arms, has entered the humanoid race with its first wheeled humanoid, the HR-05W, unveiled at the 2026 China International Industry Fair (CIIF) in Shanghai. The company showed the machine at booth 7.1H C206 under an "industrial base plus embodied intelligence" theme, alongside a second exhibit, the CubeBraid intelligent loading robot system.
The HR-05W mounts a humanoid dual-arm upper body on an industrial-grade wheeled mobile base, combining 3D vision and LiDAR with the company's "One Brain, Three States" embodied-intelligence architecture. Longqi is explicit about the design bet: wheels beat legs on flat factory floors, which the company says account for roughly 80% of industrial scenarios, trading bipedal showmanship for cheaper, more stable mobile manipulation. The pitch is industrial-grade from day one - a machine engineered for continuous production-line duty, safety, and maintainability rather than a lab demo.
The CubeBraid system targets boxed-cargo loading and unloading, linking warehouse conveyors, palletizing, and truck-van loading into a single perceive-decide-execute loop. The company says deployed systems at home-appliance, furniture, liquor, and consumer-goods customer sites already handle real container loading, claiming a 99.9% loading success rate, 400 to 1,200 boxes per hour depending on cargo and container type, and payloads from 4 to 30 kg. Those figures are company claims; no independent test data has been disclosed.
The move follows a familiar pattern in China's robotics industry: established industrial-robot makers leveraging motion-control and drive-integration know-how to enter embodied AI at lower engineering cost. Longqi's hardware pedigree is on record - its dual-arm robot control technology was granted a Chinese invention patent (CN116141338B) in 2023 - but the HR-05W's real-world performance remains to be proven in customer deployments.
