Unitree formalizes its IPO: registered capital rises to 404 million yuan
Two months after its STAR Market listing, the humanoid maker registered its new shares and converted to a listed foreign-invested joint-stock company.
Unitree Robotics has completed a corporate registration update that raises its registered capital from about 364 million yuan to about 404 million yuan, according to TMTPost, which reported the change on October 6 based on enterprise registry records. The update also converts the company’s corporate type to a listed foreign-invested joint-stock company.
The increase is bookkeeping, not a new fundraise: it corresponds to the formal registration of the 40.45 million new shares issued in Unitree’s STAR Market IPO in August. In other words, this is the paperwork catching up with the listing — the final administrative step that reflects the IPO shares in the company’s registered capital.
Unitree, founded in 2016 and led by Wang Xingxing, sells quadruped and humanoid robots and has been the volume leader among humanoid makers. The listing has been one of the defining capital-market events for the sector this year; this filing closes the administrative loop on it. TMTPost’s account is based on registry records; the company has not separately announced the change.
